TAX MANAGER ~ BATON ROUGE, LA

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field required. CPA preferred.

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax.

Excellent analytical and negotiation skills, and must be able to pay close attention to detail.

Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal and motivation skills.

Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and critical financial information.

Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.

Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word required.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Ensures that all appropriate tax returns and payments are filed in a timely manner.

Manages and directs tax research and planning activities of finance personnel and outside
consultant to ensure prompt and effective direction is given to internal personnel and consultants.

This position reports to the Vice President and Controller.
