RESPONSIBILITIES:
The SVP/Controller is responsible for developing and maintaining systems and procedures to improve quality and efficiency related to accounting management, financial management, accounting and benefit operations and special projects as requested.
DUTIES:
· Direct the monthly closing process
· Monitor balance sheet accounts
· Process shared accounts payables and accounts receivables
· Prepare financial reports for internal and external parties
· Maintain adequate internal controls
· Coordinate annual audit
SKILL SET:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification
5-10 years of financial accounting experience with progressive management responsibilities
Public accounting experience
Demonstrable broad US GAAP knowledge
Highly developed sense of urgency
Strong system skills and proven business improvement skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in standard office software applications with emphasis on EXCEL (Vlookup, pivot tables, DATA functions)
Experience in a multi-entity setting
