Staff Accountant

STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Position Summary:, a dynamic, fast growth “software as a service” (SAAS) company, providing medical billing services and web-based claims processing software, is looking for a Staff Accountant. This position will handle the day to day accounting functions and ensure they are completed timely and accurately.


Primary Responsibilities:
Preparing financial statements for review
Help prepare budgets and forecast
Bank reconciliations, posting to and reconciling general ledger
Preparing financials schedules and reconciling to the general ledger
Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Assist with maintaining and updating Fixed Asset Schedules
Calculate and prepare monthly Sales Tax returns
Assist with preparation of annual audit
Special projects as assigned


Qualifications:
BA in accounting with 2+ years of accounting experience within mid to large size company
Team player
Candidate must have strong computer skills and be an intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
Need to have excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Experience in the healthcare industry a plus
Experience with MAS200 and an ERP system a plus
CPA or CPA Candidate Preferred
