Assist VP Legal Affairs, Central Division in all legal matters. Provide best-in-class legal services efficiently, timely and cost effectively on behalf of Central Division properties as assigned by VP Legal Affairs. Anticipate, address and creatively resolve legal issues and provide counsel in a manner that optimizes business results within the framework of the company's compliance and regulatory obligations and the Code of Commitment.
Qualifications:
Provide legal advice on all aspects of business operations for assigned Central Division properties, including vendor issues and disputes, guest concerns, regulatory issues and ethical matters.
Draft/review and negotiate contracts, leases and other agreements to identify legal and potential liability concerns for management consideration.
Effectively coordinate communication between assigned Central Division properties and state and local governmental bodies, including gaming regulatory agencies.
Participate in, and initiate when appropriate, interaction with host communities for assigned Central Division properties.
Represent assigned Central Division properties before courts and administrative agencies.
Assist with corporate filings for the various regulatory bodies in assigned Central Division jurisdictions.
