PAYROLL AND BENEFITS MANAGER

Our client company has aggressive growth plans for this Houston based national service company and seeking only the most talented and driven accounting professional to join their team.
• Setup of EZLabor and ADP logins and time card processing
• Liaison with ADP and Principal Finance 401(k) vendor
• Day-to-day administration of benefits to include new hire enrollment in insurance program and all benefits renewals
• Liaison for payroll related issues within the Company and deal efficiently with payroll related queries from Senior Management and other departments as necessary
• Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage, hours and tax laws
• Payroll processing for 350+ employees at multiple state locations
• Establish Payroll policies, interpret and recommend modifications to Company wide policies
• Represent the Company as the prime internal and external contact for payroll and benefits issues
• Conduct briefings and training for top management and client representatives
• Process weekly multi-state payroll managing and utilizing a third party provider
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of the payroll records
• Facilitate HR issues as needed between Company and outside HR consultants
• Cross training of all accounting departments
• Assist Controller with special projects
