Accounts Payable Supervisor

- Responsible for running the Accounts Payable Department which consists of Accountant/Clerks. Training of all Accounts Payable Personnel.
- Verify Edit reports for coding errors, then approve and post to the General Ledger.
- Monitor data for monthly A/P Closes and schedule payment of invoices.
- Reconcile several suspense (and other) accounts to the G/L.
- Weekly check runs 200-300 checks per week.
- Review and post invoices Collections on all Debit Vendors.
- Organize and supervise the destruction of original invoices per SOX compliance.
- Running 1099's at year end. Including research/calls to vendors for W-9 information.
- Experienced in "downloading" reports into Excel spreadsheets.
