GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES – The financial analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of work papers and analyses relating to the financial statements and operations of the company.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Determining and devising data survey collection, research techniques, data interpretation, and analytical methodology to use for analysis purposes.

• Utilizing statistical, economic, and financial principles and techniques to prepare reports.

• Evaluating operational techniques, budgets, programs, and practices to ensure maximum economic operation.

• Interpreting data concerning financial trends and economic and business forecasts.

• Preparing monthly reconciliation by reviewing Accounts Receivable, bank statements, Accounts Payable, and extensive cash reconciliation.

• Preparing monthly financial statements.

• Preparing documents for compliance with regulations.

• Monitoring and reporting historical trends.

• Preparing monthly journal entries.

• Performing other related duties as required.

• Practice and adhere to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement”.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES – This position requires the following minimal requirements:

• Knowledge of preparation of financial statements and journal entries.

• Knowledge of accounting systems, fixed asset depreciation, and payroll tax return preparation.

• Skill in cash management and cash analysis reporting.

• Ability to operate a computer.

• Ability to work on special projects.

EDUCATION – Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field is required. Masters

Degree is preferred; Masters Degree in Statistical Analysis is desirable.

EXPERIENCE – Minimum of four to five years of previous accounting experience is required.
