Our client, is seeking an Accounting Manager for its office in Broussard, LA. The successful candidate will manage the shared services department providing operational Accounting support for two of the Company's business units.

As Accounting Manager, this person will be responsible to:

• Ensure the Company's financial transactions are accounted for in accordance with Company policies, SOX and US GAAP on a timely basis.
• Manage, evaluate and modify, as necessary, the Company's processes for providing shared Accounting services. The individual will be required to work closely with Unit management to ensure excellent communication flow and quality accounting support for a multiple site business unit.
• Manage local Accounting staff of 10 providing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger support and other administrative functions.
• Review financial results with management and assist with other financial analysis and forecasting as required.

Desired qualifications include a degree in Accounting and 5+ years accounting experience. CPA and Big 4 experience are also preferred. Successful candidates must have interest in broadening their accounting experience and should be open to possible developmental assignments at domestic or international locations in the Company.
