Our client company has aggressive growth plans and seeking only the most talented and driven accounting professional to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Industry experience in industrial manufacturing and/or manufacturing combined with services or industry with focus on supply chain a plus

• Experience working for a multinational firm with complex tax structure (US experience required more than international)... Some involvement with acquisitions, divestitures

• Strong background in both Federal and State tax – experience overseeing the preparation of consolidated tax return for large multinational companies, working with an outsourced Big 4 firm

• Strong background in US multistate tax – experience overseeing the preparation of U.S. multistate tax returns (including several unitary returns) for large multinational companies, working with an outsourced Big 4 firm

• Strong experience in FAS 109 (ASC 740)

• General knowledge of US GAAP – good knowledge of accounting

• Knowledge of JDE, SAP and Hyperion a plus

• Experience responding to IRS and state correspondence
• Excellent research skills

• Experience in indirect audit support, supporting an internal controversy group on compliance issues at the State and Federal level
Qualifications:
• CPA/MBA
• 5-10 years’ experience in progressively more senior tax positions, either in industry or industry combined with Public Accounting

• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred

• Industry experience in industrial manufacturing and/or manufacturing combined with services or industry with focus on supply chain a plus
