Our client company has a long term growth plans for this international O&G company and is seeking only the most talented and driven professional to join their team. Position Description * Immediately engage in the preparation and filing of tax returns * Code SAP files to reflect the status of new customers; new products; changes in tax law (key is that the contractor have depth of knowledge on multiple states' tax laws for motor fuel) * Research biofuels for various jurisdictions; work with IT to assure proper coding to avoid billing errors * Monitor, research, review and communicate all pertinent motor fuel legislation and determine the impact * Respond to internal and experCommunicate motor fuel tax issues with internal and external customers regard to legislation * Work with states on various audits * Assist with implementation of Zytax project Pay Rate $30 - $40/hour Minimum Qualifications *The minimum number of years of job related experience required by this job is 5 * Advanced knowledge of all facets of motor fuels (compliance, planning, and audits) * Excellent analytical skills as well as a thorough understanding of motor fuel tax laws and regulations * Well experiences with SAP, MS Office, Zytax If you are in search of a challenging position as a Senior Motor Fuel Tax Analyst or know someone who would be interested in this long term contract opportunity please contact Monica Ray at (832) 242-9409, or e-mail your resume to monica.resumes@myrecruiting.biz for confidential consideration.
