SUMMARY:
Accountable for providing Human Resource Generalist support for offshore employees including recruiting, employee relations, counseling, investigations, and other HR related issues. Works closely with shore based and offshore management in addressing and resolving all types of personnel issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruiting
Recruits, interviews and selects (qualified external candidates to fill vacancies not able to be filled internally.
Administers the succession/employee development plan that provides with prepared, qualified internal candidates and provides employees with career growth
Employee Relations
Fosters a positive employee relations environment for employees.
Visits rigs to discuss work place issues. Resolves and/or responds to issues as capable or forwards them to appropriate department for resolution.
Answers and assists in the resolution of payroll and benefits related problems.
Assists Rig Managers and OIM’s with employee counseling, coaching and terminations.
Investigates claims of harassment, discrimination or other inappropriate behavior.
Payroll/PeopleSoft Support
Provide Time and Labor support to the rigs. This includes trouble shooting system problems as well advising on pay practices.
Assist Dallas payroll in resolving weekly payroll variances.
Coordinating payment of rig bonuses
Researching and resolving employee pay issues
Training
Assists the training department on employee and class issues.
Works with the training department relative to the administration of employee development plans.
Other
Ensures the company and supervisors abide by all policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Other duties in support of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Human Resources Related field or equivalent practical experience.
3 years Human resources Experience
Bi-Lingual – Spanish & English
Working knowledge of, Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft knowledge is preferred, but not required
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
