International Tax – Manager

Position Summary:
Advise working groups assembled within the Company to identify, propose and implement worldwide Company initiatives on the tax implications of their projects, as well as coordinate US tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop projects within an optimal worldwide tax strategy.

Consult the business functions on the tax-efficient structuring of their domestic and international transactions, effective use of tax treaties, planning related to foreign investments, and profit repatriation to minimize US and foreign income tax liability.

Manage the accurate reporting of the international aspects of the US Federal income tax return, including Forms 5471, 1118 and related foreign E&P calculations.

Support the tax compliance teams preparation of the worldwide tax provision in accordance with FAS 109, and ongoing evaluation of the Companys international uncertain tax positions.

Direct the international tax compliance efforts for foreign Company affiliates through coordination with in-country tax advisors.

Manage, develop and train tax staff members on projects and assess performance for the Companys formal review process.

Develop strong relations and work closely with personnel of other Company functions, including Treasury, Legal and Controllers.

Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting; CPA, Masters in Taxation, LLM in Taxation or JD.

Minimum of 7 years of progressive tax compliance and planning experience with at least 5 years focused on international taxation.

Experience with a Big 4 firm or large corporate tax department of a multinational company.

Strong background in FAS109 and FIN48 analysis.

Ability to manage multiple assignments and competing priorities in a fast-paced, results-based team environment.

Outstanding leadership and client interaction skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Ability to travel internationally to various Company sites.
