International trading group, expanding existing operations in Houston, seeks a proven Senior Risk Manager to lead to risk operations, develop a team and perform complicated transactions at a senior level.

Responsibilities:
-Products: Gas and Power, FX, Crude, Carbon, LNG
-Provide up to date risk management to the firm`s traders
-Create industry best practices risk methodology
-Evaluating/minimize risk in trading strategy
- Directly work with IT in building entire risk framework
-New deal review targeting key risks & control issues to understand strategies: trades, hedges, etc
- International risk management assessments
-P&L analysis and interpreting key risk figures
-Improve risk strategy and policies in commodities area -Market/VaR reporting

Qualifications:
-Energy/Commodity risk or product control -MBA/CFA/FRM -Minimum of 10+ years in Risk Management with increasing levels of responsibilities -Proven intricate commercial and problem solving capabilities.
-Report directly to Senior Management and Global Head of Energy Risk -Manage fast past, growing business in complex transactions -Demonstrated leadership skills - Openlink Endur
