Our client company has a long term growth plans for this financial services and is seeking only the most talented and driven professional to join their team.
• Strong accounting and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting for partnerships, S- Corps and High Net Worth individuals.

Prefer Master’s degree in accounting or tax plus 1-2 years’ experience.
Bachelor’s degree candidates will be considered with sufficient experience.

Prepare annual tax work papers to be sent to outside accounting firms, for various federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships and S- Corporations.

Prepare Journal entries related to forms K-1 and other tax entries.
Research and prepare work papers for book to tax differences.
Assist in research and preparation of correspondence to respond to various Federal and State tax notices.
Assist in preparation of annual Texas Franchise return.
Reconciliation of Forms K-1 to partners’ capital balances per books (general ledger accounting).
Review of prepared 1099 forms for vendors and assist in filing with the IRS.
Prepare estimated federal and state income tax payments for individuals, Partnerships, S- Corporations.
Prepare/Review other tax filings: Annual reports.
Assist in federal and state audits.
Maintain tax calendar, spreadsheets used for K-1 tracking and distribution and tax work papers sent to outside accounting firms
Research projects and other tax projects as they arise.

Maintain required level of technical knowledge.
Keep abreast of current developments in the tax area

Must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Must be Self-Directed, Detail oriented & ability to multi-task.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Must have strong computer skills, proficient in Tax software, Excel, Word.
