Indra is a multifaceted IT company with products and services in a number of industries. They are now in Australia by way of acquisition and now have a A$50 million+ business, and are growing rapidly. One of their solution offerings is the implementation of an integral Energy Trading and Risk Management platform (ETRM) for petroleum companies, and they have delivered a number of these projects across the world. In Australia, they have an ongoing project in the Sydney suburb of Kurnell at the Caltex Refinery. This project involves the implementation and integration of the Allegro ETRM software suite. Our client company is seeking to engage a number of consultants to work on the
ETRM project as well as to work on anticipated new projects
in conjunction with Allegro and other vendors. The typical job spec is
below.
Energy Software Consultant
• Sydney
• Full Time
• A$100K to A$140K per annum plus 9% superannuation
Living away tax free allowance may be included in the package for an
initial period.
457 Skilled Employer Sponsored Work Visas are available. On this visa,
Spouses are able to work unrestricted. Opportunity to progress to
Australian Permanent Residency is possible, as well as working with
Indra in other parts of the world.
Duties –
• Work as Senior Member of a consulting team on the
implementation and integration of the Allegro ETRM product
• Provide energy industry subject matter expertise as it relates to
business software functionality
• Work with Clients and fellow project team to deliver with quality
and according to schedule
• Some Visual Studio, .net and C#
Desired Skills & Experience -
• Energy industry experience (O&G, NG/LNG, Power)
• SQL and data modeling skills and knowledge of relational
Databases
• Experience with ETRM tools
• Experience in the design of new software functionality
• Experience in the implementation of software for the energy
industry
• English language writing and language skills
• Ability to train clients and mentor junior staff
