GAAP Reporting Specialist

Summary:
This is a senior level position (6 – 8 years experience) which requires an incumbent who has earned the designation of CPA. Incumbent will report directly to the 2nd Vice President – Financial Reporting and will be primarily responsible for quarterly and annual statements in addition to financial analysis

Job Responsibilities to include the following:
· Producing and analyzing consolidated GAAP financial statements for the parent company and its affiliates on a quarterly basis
· Producing Profit and Loss statements by line of business for management
· Providing additional GAAP Disclosures compliant with SEC standards
· Investigating SEC and FASB requirements to ensure company's compliance, including Sarbanes-Oxley
· Completing surveys for rating agencies
· Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements to include the following:
· CPA certification
· 6 - 8 years financial reporting experience
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting
· Excellent PC skills with MS Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, Access)
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
