Senior Treasury Analyst, Market Derivatives & Hedging
www.myrecruiting.biz is actively recruiting for a Senior Treasury Analyst, Market Derivatives & Hedging. Responsible for identifying risks and implementing hedging strategies for the company’s worldwide foreign exchange exposure. Additional responsibilities include research and development of other hedging programs as necessary, such as management of interest rate and certain commodity risks. Involves extensive coordination with subsidiaries, global treasury operations, legal and accounting departments, as well as with bank intermediaries.
· Identify, quantify and evaluate foreign exchange contract and financial exposure and recommend hedging strategies to the Assistant Treasurer or Treasurer. (15%)
· Execute foreign exchange hedging strategies, allocating foreign exchange credit exposures among banks. (25%)
· Structure financial arrangements to fund foreign subsidiaries and joint ventures taking into account country-specific commercial and financial laws, as well as sovereign risk as appropriate. (5%)
· Negotiate and administer foreign exchange lines of credit and ISDA agreements with banks. (5%)
· Quantify and evaluate other financial risks, such as interest rate and commodity risk, for possible hedging. (10%)
· Prepare all documentation required by Internal Auditors and External Auditors and comply with internal controls on foreign exchange and other hedging activity. (15%)
· Generate activity reports for business units for whom a hedging program has been established. Manage training of business unit staff on markets and hedging matters. (10%)
· Assist and participate in the design and implementation of international cash management account structuring in cooperation with global cash management. (5%)
· Coordinate load of daily rates (foreign exchange and interest rates) into the treasury work station, generate monthly foreign exchange rate report and generate quarterly derivatives report. Oversee use and maintenance of Bloomberg data system. (5%)
· Other Corporate Finance and Treasury Risk Management activities as required. (5%)
Requirements
BS in Finance and/or Accounting, Graduate degree or MBA preferred
5 years previous experience, including 3 years of previous foreign exchange trading experience in a corporate setting. Other corporate treasury experience a plus.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in foreign exchange trading and derivatives with a thorough working knowledge of ISDA agreements, FAS 133 and FAS 157. Requires strong communication and computer skills.Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Ability to operate with minimal supervision.
