Staff Accountant Position in Downtown New Orleans

Are you an experienced staff accountant ready to make a career change? Now is the time! This exciting role is waiting for you!

The main duties of this position include reconciling cash movements/balance sheets; entering purchase invoices and reviewing payables; matching accounting transactions; journal entries; preparing cash requests; assisting with month-end close; performing account and account analysis. In addition, you may have the opportunity to work on special projects.

This position requires a 4 year degree in accounting or five years of hands on general ledger accounting experience, knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel and Oracle Financials or a related large accounting software system.
