Description of Job Responsibilities:
These highly visible, hands on management position play a critical role in reporting and analysis of revenue and bookings on a consolidated. Operating in a very technical/complex environment, this is an environment to utilize your report creation and detailed analysis skills, in addition to developing a team of direct report analysts.

This team is responsible for reporting, analysis, multiple IT systems and a custom SQL database, all relating to revenue and associated metrics
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor degree required, Finance or Accounting concentration preferred, with at least 7 years experience in a Finance related role with previous management experience preferred
-Expert knowledge of financial principles and accounting
-In depth understanding of core revenue/bookings processes to ensure timely delivery of financial results including close processes, SOX controls, reporting and audit
-Background and expertise in information technology and/or software is a strong plus
-Understanding of SOP 97-2 for software revenue recognition is a plus
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Advanced understanding of statistical and financial models
-Demonstrated experience working across functions and/or business units to solve business problems
-Proven experience interpreting and enhancing business processes and outcomes
-Strong analytical skills
-Must be self-driven and highly motivated
Software Knowledge:
-Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
-Demonstrated understanding of Financial Systems such as Oracle (or other ERP systems) and Hyperion (or similar) enterprise software tools
-Additional technical skills desired include: SQL (querying/data mining), MS Access, Business Objects (report development and analysis)
