Computer Literacy Instructor

Our client company has aggressive growth plans and are seeking only the most talented and driven accounting professional to join their team.
The primary scope for this position is to teach Computer Literacy in a computer lab with up to 15 units to clients enrolled in the program at Multi- Service Centers and at the central office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for the In-take registration, orientation and enrollment of students at all Computer Literacy sites.
2. Responsible for maintaining the classroom, it’s appearance, safety, supplies and equipment.
3. Responsible for conducting Computer Literacy classes during the day, evening and night during a forty (40) hour week.
4. Responsible for the implementation of curriculum, pre-testing and in the evaluation of student progress.
5. Responsible for providing individual and group instruction on all phases of Computer Literacy.
6. Responsible for maintaining all required records, reports and systems in a timely fashion and in an appropriate and confidential manner.
7. Attend scheduled training in the area of Computer Literacy and required Program Services annual training.
8. Perform other duties assigned by supervisor(s).
QUALIFICA TIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Education/Experience:
Degree in Computer Science preferred or other degree with experience teaching Computer Literacy.
Language Skills:
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to work in a computerized environment and have basic knowledge of word processing, email, internet and spreadsheet software.

The work environment described here is representative of what an employee may encounter while performing the duties of this job.
