Responsibilities

• Guide and assist the business to meet tax requirements and improve efficiency
• Manage customer tax exemptions, state mapping and counter party tax setups in trading systems
• Lead systems initiatives to comply with new tax requirements and improve tax and business processes
• Add value by generating and implementing new ideas consistent with company’s risk management framework
• Expert experience with State, Local, Income and Franchise tax

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years experience in sales, use, property and energy taxes
• CPA is a plus
• Solid analytical ability and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to timely research, read, and apply tax rules in response to business needs
