Job Description:

This individual will be looked upon to become a Partner, as well as the leader and face of the Tax Group. The firm is in growth mode, therefore in need of additional tax leadership professionals. The organization has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere whose partners operate with an open door policy. This company values their employees, and shows it by their outstanding benefits, compensation and culture. Their client base is primarily in Houston, thus travel is very limited.

Responsibilities:

Tax compliance, research and planning for clients
Strategic tax planning and forecasting
High level advise to a wide array of public and closely held clients
Work with local and state officials to resolve issues
Client management
Hire, train and develop staff


Qualifications:

CPA is a must
6+ years public accounting experience
Strong communication and client service skills
Previous experience managing and developing staff
Superior knowledge of tax software, technology and research tools
