This is an excellent opportunity in a Southeast Louisiana bank for highly motivated, seasoned and successful bank President/CEO to join its management team and be its President. A well-qualified candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in the banking industry including a significant period as a President/CEO.


Your responsibilities will include: the management, supervision and direction of all banking activities, including commercial, consumer, agricultural and installment lending. You will develop and manage loan policies and procedures, retail banking, collections, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and others. You will provide guidance and give advice to others engaged in loan activities and personally review, underwrite and monitor large and or complex loans. As the President of the bank, you will also be responsible for employee recruitment and retention, and making the bank a great place to work. Location: New Orleans (GNO), Louisiana.


Requirements: A qualified candidate for the President and Chief Executive Officer position must have a four-year college degree; an advanced degree, such as an MBA or completion of graduate banking school would be highly desired, but is not required. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the financial services industry with strong experience in loan portfolio management, credit and risk administration, commercial lending, and bank management is required. This is an Ideal opportunity for someone ready to step up into a management role. Some leadership or management training needed like grad school, or banking school is a plus. The ideal candidate will also possess management and leadership abilities with strategic planning skills, excellent business development and communication skills, executive leadership and management experience.
