Project Manager Analyst for a Direct Hire opportunity in New Orleans, LA. Our client company has a long term growth plans for this technology company and is seeking only the most talented and driven professional to join their team.

Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of assigned projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame. Runs complex projects from design and development to production implementation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.
• Effectively applies company’s project methodology and enforces project standards.
• Works with management to identify resources required.
• Efficiently identify and solves project issues by creating strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
• Demonstrates leadership to define requirements for project risk.
• Directs and oversees project engineering team and manages conflicts within group.
• Performs team assessments and evaluations.
• Assists technical team in coordinating design and development tasks.
• Provides regular status to management and executive level.
• Organize and assist in designing technical and project documentation.
• Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.

Competency:
• Minimum 5 years experience in IT project management
o 2-3 years experience with large, year-long projects preferred
• 1 -2 years experience with business analysis experience preferred
• 1 – 2 years experience with Agile Methodology preferred
• PMP certification a plus

Education/Experience:
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Five years related experience in IT project management
