Senior Tax Accountant


www.myrecruiting.biz is actively for a Senior Tax Accountant. The tax compliance person is responsible for ensuring that the company’s local and international tax filings are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Filings include, but are not limited to required state tax filings, expatriate filings, telecommunications filing, preparing the federal return for auditor review, calculate the quarterly federal provision and estimated quarterly payments for the federal filings. This person will work closely with the Tax Project Manager and Tax Specialist to streamline data collection and filing processes. This person will create and maintain a database of filings and will document filing processes to ensure business continuity. This person will have exposure and opportunity to participate in international tax planning.

Responsibilities:
• Completes and submits all filing documents.
• Develops filing procedure documents and databases.
• Applies a disciplined filing process and maintain this process.
Knowledge - Skills & Attributes:
• Advanced computer skills, including an ability to learn new systems.
• Must become an SME on company’s ERP and telecommunications billing systems.
• Must be able to extract financial data from company’s ERP system to complete all tax filings.
• Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and be able to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize, manage time, meet deadlines, and function with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle high stress situations in a professional, businesslike manner.
• Must have good interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
• Must be an analytical thinker able to identify solutions within current practices.


Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5 or more years Big Four accounting experience required
• Experience working in a global organization
• International Tax experience strongly preferred
